Interview with the Director of The Passion 2011 (3-15-11)

Hello world Dj Cami-Cam here in da boogie down Bronx. 77.7 New Life Radio (N.L.R.).
I had the pleasure of interviewing Lissette Cabrera-Feliciano
(Aka: Lee2theSet) regarding her upcoming production of:
Lissette

The Passion 2011 Performance

Questions for Lissette

1. So returning back as director of the passion play after a break how does it feel?

Ans: Refreshing & challenging. Overall, feels awesome to be inspired again.

2. What was your main motivation for returning as director?

Ans:  The play definitely needed a face lift. I knew we had to do something...times change and cultural evolves. The Passion play needed to keep up. The old script was run dry.  I wanted to see something better for the play in the up and coming years. Ideally I would have loved to present a new script with a new building...but time was running out. We are just going with it.  My hope is that we can stay relevant as we present Passion Plays year after year...so we can win as many souls as possible.

3. What new concepts did you bring to this years play?

Ans: This is a production for sure. I brought in some modern elements without taking away from traditional feel of the play...we cut the script to 45 minutes, original music and a few surprises.

4. Are their any scenes that you are most excited about? If yes why?

Ans: There are a couple scenes I am excited about. Actually, I may be excited about all of them. They are carefully thought out and referenced. The creative pieces attached to them are also cool.

5. So you are well known for your creativity when it comes to building a set what
can the audience expect to see this year.

Ans: Bigger stage!!!!! I won't disclose the actual dimensions...but its gonna be awesome!
Well there you have it in her own words The Passion 2011 is going to be the play to talk about for years to come.
That's it for now, of course you know i like to leave you with a song that will encourage and cause you to look to God the author and finisher of your faith.
Today's song is one of my absolute favorites this song has been on repeat on my play list I  cant get enough of it.  i hope it blesses you as it did for me. Part of the song goes something like this: " With everything I will shout for your Glory, With everything i will shout forth your praise." My prayer is that everyday our lifestyle for Jesus will shout forth his Glory.  Let Your Light Shine before Men. Be blessed until next time stay tuned into 77.7 N.L.R.
